PROTECT YOURSELF FROM VIRUS (Malware)

Some easy, cost effective and very functional steps to protect yourself from viruses, spywares and adware – this method even work perfectly against hackers.


USING WINDOWS FEATURES
1. “Disable” or “Rename” the user accounts “Administrator” and “Guest” (already implemented in Windows Vista*

2. Create and use two or more user accounts; all with different privileges e.g. Tig - Administrator, Tiger1 – Standard, Tiger – power; use an account with only the required permission.#

3. always lock your desktop before leaving your pc – when a desktop is locked, no external applications or devices can run.+
4. Enable automatic update OR regularly download updates- so as to get security patches and in case of windows so malicious software removal tool.
5. Use genuine Oses – so you can get core updates and access to high-priority areas of official sites e.g. http://www.microsoft.com





USING A THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE

Instead of using multiple security applications like antivirus, adware removal tool, spyware removal tool (separate malware removal applications) use a good, genuine and easy to update multipurpose security program e.g Norton (Systemworks, 360 or Internet Security), Avg 8.x internet security, Avast antivirus, Kaspersky internet security etc.@
